Oliver No. 21 Lathe update

When we started thinking about the trajectory of a 140 pound turner who had a serious catch working on an 8 foot dia. bowl with a four foot tool we started thinking about safety precautions. What we came up with was this so if he went to far he could come down safely.

With my luck my cape would get caught up in the lathe and all I'd get is dizzy.:D

Obviously, no one here has watched "The Incredibles". Otherwise, you would know that capes are a bad idea. :)

To quote Edna Mode, "No capes!" :D

Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): It will be bold! Dramatic!
Bob (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005266/): Yeah!
Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): Heroic!
Bob (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005266/): Yeah. Something classic - like Dynaguy. Oh, he had a great look! Oh, the cape and the boots...
Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): [throws a wadded ball of paper at Bob's head] No capes!
Bob (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005266/): Isn't that my decision?
Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): Do you remember Thunderhead? Tall, storm powers? Nice man, good with kids.
Bob (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005266/): Listen, E...
Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): November 15th of '58! All was well, another day saved, when? his cape snagged on a missile fin!
Bob (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005266/): Thunderhead was not the brightest bulb...
Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): Stratogale! April 23rd, '57! Cape caught in a jet turbine!
Bob (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005266/): E, you can't generalize about these things...
Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): Metaman, express elevator! Dynaguy, snag on takeoff! Splashdown, sucked into a vortex!
[shouts]
Edna (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0083348/): No capes!
