So pics were request and here it is parked in the drive way. Under that blue tarp in the pic is a 34" American Bandsaw.

Here it is backed up to the shop door. We didn't have to disassemble it to get it into the shop. Just took the items off that would come off. It's a heavy bugger.

How do you get a Stubby, a Oneway 1018, a Shopsmith with bandsaw and Jointech system, full size cabinet saw, disk.spindle sander, 24" scrollsaw, Floor model drillpress, 2 workbenches, tormek and stand, dust collector, grinder with Wolverine, and all the other handtools into a 12x16 shop and still have room to use them all and move around?

Yes, you do have a "full house", Brian!

I'm very surprised that your Stubby arrived with the base fully assembled. When I bought mine in early 2004 from John Jordan (who was the importer at that point), the base had to be put together. That was actually good since I had to do everything alone. I even removed the motor so I could lift the machine onto the assembled base.

Jim,
I had to install the motor and the vfd. Not a big deal on those.

Loretta - this is Biff. Biff - meet Loretta.

All right Brian!

Make some shavings and get that new dog all dirty and properly presentable!

I've been in Brian's shop and either he's done some reorganizing or the pictures make it look bigger than it is. Told me he had to give up flat work or he'd get trapped in the shop and never get out.:D
Can't wait to see what you turn out with your new toy Brian!

Andy,
I'd love to make some shavings, but, moving everything around the past couple of days trying to figure out how to set everything up and still be able to use them has plum wore me out. Rick my neighbor had to go home after we got it moved in. Said he thought he pulled something. Later found out he just strained every muscle in his shoulders. We slid it out the truck and then picked it up off the pallet. Probably a good 500lbs. Makes loretta seem like a little beer comercial girl. Anyway, I've got a big chunck of oak to try on it when I feel I've got the strength to get it up on the lathe.

Doug,
I did rearrange plus got rid of the Darra James and brought in the Boice Crane tablesaw. My wife is happy as I got the machinery I had on my back porch moved and or sold plus what I had in the warehouse at work. I was getting out of flat work because I'm not suppose to be lifting due to the 4 disk fusion in the neck.

Brian - that's what I call a full house! Looks like it is going to take some figuring as far as tool placement but the great thing is - you have a shop!
