Cheap & Quick CQ-Saw system

I have put this together over time to cut down plywood the first 2 shots shows the bottom to which I added pieces of old mouse pad for sticky non skid bottom it works great as well as showing the top of the guide & saw. The second shot shows my CQ cross-cut jig.

Over to the right in the 3rd pic. on the table-saw wing are 3 6" wide strips I just cut using the CQ saw-system without clamps & it worked great.

Ya I know it not a EZ Smart just a CQ Saw System.

Bart, how do you use the saw guide without clamping it down? I have a couple I've used over the years, but I never felt comfortable using them unless I have them clamped to the stock!

The same way they use the Festool or EZ-Smart system set it on the material align it with my cut marks & cut. The weight of my saw & guide & the mouse pad strips seem to hold it in place just fine.
