It must be my week for free wood

My darling bride spotted this one. Another neighbor had a pear tree get damaged in the storm. The section of the tree I got was pretty damaged but I was able to get 4 10x10x4 (on average) bowl blanks out of it.

While at Lowes I bought some DNA so I can experiment with turning wet wood and drying it.

'Course, my darling bride also bought 5 gallons of paint, so it may be a few days at least...

Turn your rough blanks and start your drying process....then break out the 5 gallons of paint. That'll keep you busy while your waiting for your roughed bowls to dry.;)
