They closed the Tacoma Narrows Bridge during our little wind storm here Thursday night, first time it was closed due to wind since 1940. This is what happend in 1940 Video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4037354776795422979&q=Narrows+Bridge) The bridge is a mile long. I live just up the hill from the current bridge.

I've seen that video. I used to think about it whenever I crossed that bridge going to visit our son and his wife when they were stationed at Bremerton. The video makes one appreciate "thorough" engineering!

Last exit before the bridge is the new Carl's Jr., 6th & Pearl, first in the sound area.

Power back at the house now, 11:30 this morning it came back. Still out in Bellevue at the old shop.
