Quote question

How do some of the folks here insert portions of a previous post as quotes in a new message. When I click on the "quote" button I get the entire post....and as we all know, some are pretty loooooong:D

I tried highlighting then copy, paste, quote, etc. but I still get the entire post.

Click the Quote button, in the next window, simply remove all the stuff between the QUOTE and /QUOTE "markers" that you don't want. At least that's what I do.

What Dennis said...or type in your own quotation tags and copy/paste the limited text you want to appear as a quote between them. If you want to include the person's name for attribution (such as when you want to do multiple responses to multiple people in the same post, inser "={member's name}" right after the first instance of bracket"quote".
