Well decided to make a jig for the lathe today. Got the Woodworkers Journal edition Workshop Projects and Techniques. There was a steady rest in it. So decided to see if I could build it. Built one for the Rikon lathe. Liked it so well decided to build one for the big C-man. It is in progress. Will post when finished.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product. At this point I have to admit that I like your use of color!

Great looking steadies there Bernie. I need to make one of those for my 3520a. Great idea!

Thanks. I will get some pictures of the big one this afternoon. I just doubled the size for my big C-man.

That is on my list of things to build. Where did you find the wheels and how much did they cost?

The wheels alone if you can find them are high so I went to Target and bought the who skate and took off the wheels. Each skate had 4 wheels so had enough to make two.

Used inline skates are very cheap on ebay, also scour the garage sales and craigs list.
