While cutting a 12 x 24, 1/4 green acrylic sheet tonight, I noticed that the cut parts were dropping out of the sheet onto the table. Strange, as the sheet started out flat and the parts should stay put.
The cut took 45 mins+-. I guess the build up of heat caused the sheet to bow. Focus didn't seem to have been too critical on this one - the distance to the lens surely did change. As you can see, the sheet lifted about 3/16" at the center, allowing the parts to fall "down".
Anyone else ever see this happen?
