I recently made some turned gumball machines from plans adapted from a square machine. I heard from a friend that there was a Wood (?) magazine article on building a machine without the pull-out lever. I'd like to clean up the design. Can anyone remember the article? Thanks.

Hello Gilbert,
Shopsmith has a pretty neat one here (http://www.freegumballmachineplans.com/index.htm) with the instructions.

Hello Gilbert, I've not been able to find the article you are looking for but I have made a few of these over the years. Excellent scrap wood project and the neighborhood kids get a kick out of them. I believe these are called Lolly Dispensers in Australia. http://www.bhg.com.au/display.cfm?objectid=D6D0483C-30BB-4B09-BB2DFC8C5D6FB25D&navid=C8561883-DD94-4FB8-86EDE8FB180A3BB8 PDF File with instructions and dimensions http://www.bhg.com.au/transient/200004_100_lolly_dispenser.pdf Regards,

Jack, how's it going? Neat little machine. it has some ideas I might be able to incoparate into my dispenser.

Bill, yes I remember now, it is called a lolly. Spent three years there in the 80's. I like the rollong dispenser.

Thanks guys, this gives me some ideas to work on.

Happy New Years to all.
