Hello all!

New here and thought I would post up and tell you about myself. I am a avid woodworker, hunter, fisherman and golfer. I mainly do my woodworking in the winter in my small shop but sometimes if the weather isn't too hot I will play around in the summer also. I have been woodworking since high school industrial arts class and although not much in my college beer drinkin days I have always liked it. Have made alot of projects over the years...just not much with pics until lately. I will try to post up a pic of my shop one of these days when I get a chance.

I see that there are alot of woodnetters here as I have saw some of the same posts in here that I have saw there also. They would know me as "reb". Just thought I would give alittle background and let it go from there. Again nice to be here and hello!

Ryan........most people use some type of photo editing software to resize their photos for posting here. The maximum size varies depending the format of the photo...ie...type of file. Then you can post here using the "Manage Attachments" hot buttom at the bottom of your posting page.

Check this thread for details.....http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=25115

Good luck!

Ryan......avitars are 50x50 pixels or 19.5 kb which ever is smaller. I misdirected you with that other thread. If you click on "Manage Attachment" button...it'll tell you what size is maximum for pictures depending the file type.

Good luck!

Welcome to the Creek Ryan.!!!! Nice looking "last years" projects in the pics. Most pics are best sized at 600 by 400 pixels and under 50K in size. The members on SMC are on DSL, Cable Modem, Satellite link, and yes...even dialup. Thus the reason why the pics should be small in file size for faster download to your screen and 600 by 400 pixels fits best on many peoples monitors for screen resolution.

Welcome.!!!! And enjoy your stay at the Creek. :D
