Professionally this week I had a tough stressful week.....Didn't get a lot of turning time...but between last Sunday and today at noon.....Here's what I turned out. I'm not too happy with the Christmas decorations. I know I can do better. I've got to get some more ideas and some hollowing tools!

The pepper grinders and salt shakers....canarywood......

The Christmas decorations....scrap walnut........Most of the work on the decorations are done with a 3/4" skew.

Yeah...me too. They look great Ken!!

Hey...I picked up a set of miniature chisels at Harbor Freight. I don't think they ran more that $10. They work great for the little stuff.

About the only thing to complain about would be the lack of time to make more decorations! Everything looks great to me!

Looks great, turning is a great stress reliever

Oh the joys of being young, and home schooling, this week, I turned around 50 items, and finished around 15:D

Very nice Ken. I need to visit my lathe. Maybe getting a tree will be motivation. I like the orniments but you keep playing with them - takes
alot to cover a tree!

Ken I was browsing the Creek and came across your post and was looking at your projects, guess who saw your pepper mills, now I'm in the dog house and will have to make one. Been trying to dodge that one but it looks like I'll have to rethink that.

By the way nice work bud.
