Decorative Box W/PIC

Hi to all,
Haven't posted lately, been busy and out of town some. This is a simple box made of Walnut and Curly-Ambrosia Maple. It has lift handles front and back center. Finish is lacquer.

Chris, GREAT box! I really, really like the Curly Maple used with Walnut. As you know, I like to use constrasting wood for small box projects. I think it adds a interesting look to the design. As for your box, you are right about the coming and going thing, but never fear, I have a solution. To ease your mind............the Box is "coming" from your shop.............and "going" to my house! :D See, I told you I had the solution! :p Great work Chris........thanks for sharing it with us. :)

The wood is beautiful and I really like the details such as the way the chamfer stops at the handles, the splines and the way the handles wrap down along the sides.
