9:15 AM ET - Call from Woodcraft, shipping new bench top and picking up damaged top. Knowing who to contact, thanks to a fellow Creeker, makes the difference. Will update and post contact info when new top arrives.
PENDING - HAVE CONTACT - SENT EMAIL
I think I remember a thread with the name of a contact person at Woodcraft. I searched SMC for the thread - no luck. For the second time this year I have received a damaged shipment from Woodcraft.
Both times the packing was the problem. Saturday, I received a damaged workbench top. A 56 pound shipment in a flimsy single layer cardboard box shipped from Cambridge, OH. Last time a CS rep sent me an email and said - "I'm sorry we did such a poor job of packing..."
If you know name and email address of someone higher in the chain of command than a CS rep, please post or send a PM.
