Hi, I am not really new to this forum, as I have been lurking for quite a while. However I really need to let you guys know that Andy, who is the webmaster of the Maine Woodturners web site has a special feature on their home page.

You may want to visit at http://www.mainewoodturners.org/

I too have been lurking here for many months and am always inspired by the imigination, skill, and friendly banter represented on this forum. The Christmas light display that Andy is using on their homepage is nothing short of spectacular and very entertaining. Having read that Andy was a Corpsman that served in the Fleet Marine Force, he has my utmost respect and admiration. I received my Oneway 2436 in March but my turning time was cut short due to another operation. I served as a Marine in Vietnam and was wounded many times leaving me disabiled. I owe my life to a Corpsman! I hope to be able to return to turning on my new lathe in the coming weeks and will post some pieces I made before this last operation. And Andy, Moxie in Alabama has another conatation; a common trait of all Navy Corpsmen!

Nah. I like it right here, Raymond. Besides, if we move this over there, the bandwidth consumption would crash the site.

Thanks, Roy. About time you posted.

EDIT: Hey! Roy's a pretty accomplished spinhead in his own right. You can check out a few of his pieces here (http://www.mainewoodturners.org/html/roy_antaki.html).

And, Jack. My tour with the marines made a lasting impression on me too. Went a long way towards defining who and what I am today.
