Was in the shop today working on the Grandson's wooden wagon. Got the first coat of paint and both axles mounted. So one more coat of paint and it will ship.

Anyway had some time inbetween so had a piece of Red Gum that I have had for quite a while. Decided to make a HF out of it. I finally got to use my Kelton hollowers. They worked really well. Anyway got it hollowed out to 3/8" and put a red heart collar on it. It has a coat of Watco Danish Oil on it and will probably go with wipe on poly over that. It is 6" tall and 3 1/2" across.

Thanks Travis for your tutorial on doing collars. It is not much but is the first one.

Thanks for the nice comments. It was a lot of fun. I finally got to get my Kelton hollowing tools out and use them. I am going to try another bigger one out of Elm tomorrow. Hopefully it will turn out as good as this one.
