You will need some large poles to mount a couple of them on. But all are very nice looking and a lot of work has went in to the design and creation.

Hi everyone
Here are a few more of my Extreme Birdhouses.

Lie, lie, lie.

The first one is a tenament complex, not a house, the second, the Church of flight!

Why don't you make them more extreme, and make a pole house?

Hey John, those are way neat! I especially like the one with the tall steeple on it. Very cool! You must posses a LOT of patience! :)

Great job, John. Very interesting designs. Do you make your prototypes with Lincoln Logs?;) :D

Try glueing rocks to the roofs to give it a cobblestone look. Then enamel them. Woud look very cool with your house ideas.

John,
Those are great! Are they for purple martins? What kinds of birds use them?

Thank you all for the nice compliments.
I never knew what Lincoln logs were until i started building these.

I make all different sizes for different birds.
I am attempting to set a world record for the worlds largest Purple Martin house.

I have been thinking about using stones for foundations and chimneys but don,t know how to make them stick.:D

So that's why you got into bird houses! Cheaper then cat food!;)

When they put the fake brick or rock on houses/chimneys, they use a morter. Should just be able to do the same.

Amazing by the way... simply amazing.

Did you guys take down an old barn on the property?

How do you clean them out?

Chuck

Wow, that's a big birdhouse in that last pic!!! You should win the world's largest for that one. I like the tin roof and the log detail. I am a huge log home fan.

Thank you gentlemen.
I get all the wood free from farmers in my area.
most of the time they just burn the barns.
So far i have had two barns given to me in exchange for a birdhouse.
I have enough wood now to build a few hundred of them.:D
Thanks again
john
