Right you are, Mark. But, my thoughts (yes, dangerous) have been playing with the idea of selling off the Vega AND my smaller spindle lathe and replacing both with just the 3520B. I'd end up saving room plus, make it easier to adapt stuff like HF capturing rigs and such. I'd lose 4" of swing. Not that big of a deal, IMHO, as I've never made use of the full 24" to begin with. Not sure yet but, am thinking along those lines... :)

Since we're looking at pin-ups. How about an oldie from the 50's.

Mayo.........Mustard...............relish......... ...mayo.............mustard.........relish........ .I guess for now I'll just have to be satisfied with Mayo Light.....

I'd lose 4" of swing.
Actually, if you went with either the 18" bed extension or the outboard turning stand, your swing would exceed your current Vega. I think it was Travis who built (or had someone build) a homemade outboard turning stand for his 3520.

I bought the extention when I bought my PM and thought i'd use the extra swing a lot. The extention is still in the box. 20"s is a big bowl!:D

I don't think they ship Mustard that far north... to the land of Moxie... sorry Andy. You'll just have to settle for now...

Oh, I don't know...she grew some hair alright but I still see them ribs hangin'... Nah, those aren't ribs. They're cooling fins - like on a radiator. Let's just say she's a hottie, and leave it at that.

apparantly..we need some bread to get either mustard or mayo....

Ken Fitzgerald

Bread can turn Mustard to Mayo...........a lack of significant amounts of bread...........will cause me to resort to Mustard..........

Of course, Travis, going from Mayo Light to Mustard will be a HUGE NUMBER of steps UP!
