I found this great site recently when I got into turning, and have gotten a lot of great info here. I thought I should also share some of my flatwork. This is an entertainment armoir that my wife and I built recently. I currently don't have a shop, so this was constructed in the dirt in my back yard. It is made of aromatic cedar, and is about 6'8" tall by 4' wide. I double hinged the upper doors so that they fold out of the way when we want to watch tv. The hardware is rusted iron I picked up in Mexico. Any comments or critiques are welcome.

Jason, just one, well maybe two.....it is beautiful and I can't believe you built it in the dirt.

That's a really nice piece, Jason...and I agree with Steve..."nice shop environment"!! :D But you know what? It worked out very well. It's not the shop or the specific tools...it's the maker. Great job!
