Here are a few pix of 3 different pistachio bowls I just finished. All sanded through 2000 with abrasive from VincesWoodenWonders, hand rubbed gel poly finish.

Wow! First time I've seen Pistachio wood, really something - great colors.
They look like mighty fine bowls and I really like the edge treatment given the thickness - works well!

Have to agree with Dave - first time for me also. Love the colors within the wood. Nice - simple - forms for the bowls works for me!

Dick.....Beautiful bowls!.....One criticism.....that one looks like it has a scorpian crawling up out from inside of it.:eek:

I was expecting a bowl full of those nuts, not that kind of wood so this was a real treat. Thanks for letting me see this beautiful wood. BTW how large are they?
