Hi,
I'd like to hear from anyone who has bought a Steel City cabinet saw and what you think of it. I've had a chance to look at them and they look as robust as a General cabinet saw. The industrial fence system certainly feels smooth.
Thanks,
Randy

I reviewed the least expensive version on the Popular Woodworking weblog, and the full published review will be in the February issue, which will be available around the first of the year.

Randy, I’m a newbe here but since no one else is responding I will give it a shot. I just bought a Steel City Deluxe saw with the industrial fence and love it. The fit and finish is outstanding (much better than Jet or Delta). Assembly went flawlessly and it needed virtually no adjustments out of the crate. The fince is also incredable. It moves so smoothly that you will be looking to see if it has bearings. It’s also a steal at $1450. I Also ordered the 18" bandsaw and should be taking delivery on it this week. Here is the link to the saw I have.

Dave,
Thanks, this is the type of feedback I'm looking for.
