Been thinking about doing some air brushing on some of the vcarving and carvewright projects that I'm been doing. So far I've only bought the cans of Krylon spray paint and used them. Thinking I would have more control with the airbrushing. Any recomendations? How about the type of paint? Thanks in advance.

'Not an expert on this one, but a good airbrush is a better idea than an inexpensive one. Bin Pho uses one with an open cup as it makes for quick and easy color changes. I suspect that "serious" hobby shops that cater to modeling will have some of the better guns available. Also check places like Woodcarvers Supply.

Any of the acrylics, such as Golden, are great for airbrush work. They do need to be reduced a bit, but will work well for the application.
