On Saturday my wife and I are making the trip south of the border to do a little Christmas shopping.
Buffalo is the closer of the 2 locations but we dont mind the extra drive to Rochester if the shopping is better there. Help me out guys where is the better place to take my wife? I would like to visit a woodcraft for the first time as well, but this is not a must.
Where is a good place to stay over night? Good place to have diner?

Chris

Chris,

never been there, but Bryan from Woodstock reported on a trip to Buffalo to visit "Phillips Brothers (http://www.philippsbros.com/)" where he scored a reconditioned Delta Bandsaw for a really sweet price.

Or wasn't that the sort of shopping you had in mind? :p

Hi Chris,

If you ever come to the Prime Outlets in Grove City, PA you are right by me. Avoid the Thanksgiving Night sale though. They had a 10 MILE back up on I-79 just to start shopping at midnight. There is no tax on clother if you come to PA.

Sorry can't help you with NY.

I think there are a few places on Jefferson Rd. Which is were the woodcraft is.

There is a hotel across the street from the woodcraft

Both are near more than one mall.

I like Rochester but that's because I'm already there. They get too much snow in Buffalo. :D

If you can get to Erie or another place in PA, don't you save on sales tax?
