Hi, Sorry for my abcense, we were off of the net...

Wasn't off the lathe though, no sireeee;):D

Here is some of my latest work....

Third is a spalted wattle hollow form, 10"x4"

First is a Rippled bluegum box, with camphor laurel lid, and Jarrah finial.10"x5"

Second is my favourite box, the profile is.......perfect(IMHO)10"x10"

And fourth is my next project.11"x6"

Sorry, they are all mixed up....

I have made many many more items....some I will put on in the future.

All items have been sanded to 1500g, and then finished with shellwax cream.

I have made 3 woodturning videos (making my 4th), I will be putting them on the net soon....

Thanks, when we were off the net, I had time to look at other things on our computer, it was then that I found the abilities of PAINT. Great liitle program...I am not very artistic, and so I have been able to draw some great little designs. I have attached a photo of what I made yesterday, very dodgy, but I think I can actually see a basic shape in their somewhere:confused:

Anyway, I am uploading my videos to the net, and will put the link on here when their are finished..

Those are some fine pieces Joash. The only suggestion I would offer would be for a more slim finial on the boxes. Otherwise, excellent work! Glad you made your way back.
