Pre-Christmas show next weekend, so I'm trying to get a few of these done...

16-1/2" x 13-1/2" x 8-1/2"... buffed oil finish...

Hey Mark! Do you always have to show these great looking NE Walnut Bowls?

Maybe once in a while you could show a crappy looking NE Walnut Bowl.

Great looking bowls Mark! Looks like you have this NE style of turning pretty much wired! Best of luck with your upcoming show!

The movement of the grain marries beautifully with the form on this one. Excellent work!

Again, a very fine job! Have to ask: Did you need to stabilize the bark on this one with CA? On a previous one you said you didn't. That is some serious bark and it's great that it held on for the ride.

Excellent Mark!

Did you turn those green or did you dna them?

Pete, these were roughed and DNA'd.

Mark, I did use some CA on this one. The layer right next to the wood. It had a spot or two that was just a little loose. The others I haven't had to CA.

Another winner, Mark! I really love the transition from the sapwood to the heart. And I note that you have the sanding/finishing process all down to a "T"; I always have such a hard time with Walnut. :( Great job, sir! :)
