I was a little disappointed that this piece ended up with a pith in it instead of more eyes and didn't have more blue in it, but was about the only way I could orient it. It was a little touchy finishing the bottom with the vacuum chuck. I had all the voids covered with blue tape, but the bottom section kept flexing under the vacuum. 5 1/2" by 5 1/2", buffed Seal-a-cell finish.

Travis all I can say is WOW. Absolutely beautiful. Someday Travis, someday. I love that piece.

I wouldn't use a phrase like that with such a beautiful piece Travis. I'd be dancing on the roof!!! Gorgeous! :)

Forget the problems with the bottom. It's HARD to see how you kept it together while hollowing it out.

You could have pierced the pith out ?? Seriously though, a stunning piece.
