The guy at Home Depot said they are changing their cordless combo kits and are dumping this 5 piece set... so you may have to hunt around for this set for $299.

Hey, can someone provide us with an area or the town where the Home Depots have the R9223 on close out. Everywhere I have checked they are still $449. I am in Missouri. I even called some stores in Wisconsin and Washington. I live in Missouri, and the 2 different 4 piece combo sets are on sale, but not the 5 piece. Anyone willing to share some information, it would be appreciated.

I got mine @ the HD in Milwaukee on 27th st. When I bought mine (on 11/22) the guy said he had 2 left.

Joe, thanks for the info. I just called that Home Depot , price is $449. I am wandering if you hit a one day sale. If you did, it was a good find. At my local Home Depot, they have the 18v 4 piece on sale for $299 and the 4 piece 24v on sale for $397, but the 5 piece is still $449, but I think it is now on sale online for $404.

I just made a trip to HD to get some supplies for my chip barrel lid, and took a peek at the cordless. They only had the 4 piece and it was $299.00. No 5 piece at all. Wondering if they are trying to get rid of the 4 piece first, then do the 5 piece? Don't need one anyway, just curious. Jim.

FYI... I called the HD in Franklin, WI (414-304-1024) where I got mine for $299... They sold the last one today.

I called the HD in Lake Geneva, WI (262-248-6297) and they had 1 left for $440 but said he might match the $299 if he could verify the price.

The model # is R9223
