Cherry gloat

Being a good Dad, I took the fam to the circus today. Luckily, Lumber Logs is on the way downtown, so I stopped off to see Tom and Joe. I picked up a nice selection of boards. While looking through the bowl blanks, Tom said "Hey Gary, come look at this."

Behind the building on a pallet lay 3 chunks of cherry. My wife followed me out and said "You haven't made me any cherry bowls yet."

So its her fault. Otherwise, I'm almost sure I wouldn't have taken them home with me. :rolleyes:

I'm going to put them aside for awhile while I get more practice to improve my turning skills.
