Passing of Bo Schembechler

God bless this man and his family.

Bo retired from coaching the year I graduated from high school. Growing up in Detroit, Bo was a household name, as was Michigan football. I got a chance to see him give a speech once, but never got to shake his hand. He was a Michigan man, through-and-through. He will be missed.

Yep, Big game today in MI. We are state fans, but the wife and her family ALWAYS root for whoever is playing U of M. I tried, again, this morning to tell her U of M is STILL a MI team!!

Anyway, she and hers are rooting for OSU, not sure Ill be able to stay in the house today!!

Bo was a strong, firm and great coach!! I recall a story I heard about him meeting w an opposing coach prior to a game. The younger coach admitted to Bo he was nervous.. Bo quickly replied "you should be". He will be missed!! Big impact on the game!!!
