My Delta lunch box planer 22-560 was having problems feeding last night and was leaving ridges on the boards from having seen a nail, and were pretty dull.

I put in some new blades this evening, and waxed the table.

I now want to clean the feed rollers, but don't know what to clean them with. I was thinking of using alcohol, would that work or would it damage the rubber on the feed rollers?

The manual doesn't even talk about cleaning the feed rollers, and the Delta site just says clean them.

Any suggestions?

Alcohol is the cleaner of choice for most things rubber. If in doubt use a rag dampened with water.

 PMS Products (I know) makes something called "Blade & Bit." Its for removing resin, gum and pitch. They also make Boeshiield. :D Have you been running pine ?
