For those of you wanting a full review on the Maxi, it probably won't happen until after the holidays. I want to make ornaments and I haven't even tried them yet. I also still have to decide on what type of floor I want to put on top of my carpet before I weigh it down. I also have a new playmate who wants to make straight bonkers and them color them like Bonnie Klein.:D

I have had no problems so far with the lathe and I love it!

Keep on Bonkin'!!! That's one of the best excuses for a delayed review one could have...and perfectly acceptable!

Pete:

I have wanted one of those little Maxi lathes ever since I started buying WW tools. I think that compared to the other popular models of that size, the Genereal Maxi lather offers more $ per pound than anyother similar lathe.

For that matter, I think any of the General or GI lathes are a sleeper. They look well built with a whole bunch of of Cast Iron.

From my novice eye, the G or GI models are winners!
