Okay,
I am looking into get a new dust collector and I need your input. I have looked at both bag and cannister collectors. Which do you prefer. I think that I am leaning to the cannister. Also how big? I want to connect to TS, Planer, jointer, and router tables (6). Space is tight. Thanks for you input.

Cannister more efficient .Usually much more filtering sq inches due to the config IMHO. If u go bag, get a low micron rating .5 or better...Just my thoughts..

Mike,

Try these guys. This is probably the best deal anywhere on high-end 16 oz. needle-felt filters. They'll size them specifically for your dc. Easy to maintain, long life, very well made with triple-stitched seams for zero leaks. These are even remotely close to the usual so-called 1 micron bags found on most consumer-model dc's.
