The top one is Koa on a Gold Baron pen kit. The bottom one is Desert Ironwood on a Black Platinum Baron pen kit.

Nicely done Curt! Is the Desert Ironwood hard to turn? I'd like to try something other than slimlines. I just started turning pens a week ago Friday. I've got 23 American slim lines done this week and a couple bottlestoppers. All destined to be Christmas presents. SWMBO has cracked the whip!

Beautiful work. Next time photograph your pens on a less distracting background. Nice wood there too, BTW.

Thanks everyone!
Amen Frank. In fact, this weekend I bought one of those fancy schmancy photo tents to try and improve my pics. Should be here in a week or so.
Ken, the Ironwood turned and polished very nice. It was a "free" blank that Bill Baumbeck from Arizona Sillouette threw in with my order of pens. I like these Baron pens best of the few I've tried.

Outstanding!!!
Those are beautiful, Curt. I'm going to buck the system, here and cast my vote for the ironwood.
Thanks for sharing.
