Can anyone tell me anything about this shaper? I spent a few hours on the web and was not successful at finding any info. I called the guy selling it and he said he got it 4 years ago from Olympic Machinery in LA who gave it a thorough inspection before selling it to him and he has not put any hours on it. He says it is a “Davis & Wells” machine that was produced just after they were acquired by Oliver so it is basically a Davis & Wells model 2500 with an Oliver nameplate. It has a 3 HP/220v/1ph motor and 1” spindle.
Any & all info would be greatly appreciated especially opinions as to the price, availability of parts and things to look for when I take a look at it in the next few days.
