View Full Version : Wood haul.............final chapter

Today was the last haul of wood from the old barn. This wood was cut approx 25 years ago.
Today's load consisted of pine .........huge pine. Most of it 12/4 12-18"wide. I have no idea what I will do with it yet.

This pic shows most of the wood from the haul less some already at my shop. I had to store this at a shed elsewhere.
It consists of red oak, walnut, cedar, locust, pine, ash, and 1 slab of 10/4 cherry.

And the best part......................FREE WOOD!:D

Don't know where you are located but a Windsor chair maker near you might be willing to purchase the wide pine, if it is clear stock. Where are you? Philip

I am about 100 miles sw of chicago.

Much of this pine is clear stock. The story I got was that all of this pine came from one massive pine. It is beautiful stock. It was raining last night so we unloaded quickly. If I get out to the shed, I may pull out a couple slabs for better pics.
