I have a PC 690 router and the Pc template guide nut loosens after about 6" of cutting. Does anyone know an easy fix for this or do I need new guides.
Thanks.

Wrap the threads with a little teflon plumbers tape .. .. it'll dampen the vibration and should make it stay in place.

May have addressed this before; but see PIX LINK. (http://patwarner.com/images/sundries3.jpg)

Doesn't take much to lock it up.

Chris:
I had the same thing happen a couple years ago. I had a big load of interrior doors and jams to mortice out for hinges, and the guide bushing loosened up several times, even though I was hand tightening it as much as I could. Finally tightened up the large nut with a pair of channel locks to a grunt and a fart effort, and didn't come lose again.
