I helped a friend move this week end & among the items he had 3 circular saws that he was going to throw out because of repairs that they needed. He had purchased a new DeWalt & didn't want them. Among the saws was a Milwaukee 7 1/4" that he said needed a new switch. He told me to take it home. Well I took the switch apart & cleaned the contacts & adjust them & now the saw works great.

Sounds like a good tool find Bart. Milwaukee's are good tools.
Your tool acquisition was a little easier than dumpster diving too.

I've found that 90% of what's wrong with anything that doesn't work is dirt. Once yo clean it and put it back together, it usually works. Way to keep a fine tool from the trash.
