If you noticed the absence of the wit and wisdom of Carl Eyman, his wife, Leslie, broke her hip Friday and she is in the Oschners' Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. They operated Saturday and she is starting on the road to recovery. I saw Carl at his shop this morning and it looked like he was turning a hip replacement out of white plastic.
