Project suggestions, how to finish Pecan

Thanks to the wonderful BBQ at Steve Jenkin's this weekend, I went home w/ 60BF of pecan! Ah, now what to do with it? Any suggestions?

I have some really light colored pieces which I'm going to try bent laminating for some plant stand legs (contrasting w/ Black Walnut) and a standing mirror for my wife. But that won't take a lot of wood.

Any suggestions what to make w/ the rest?

Also what are some nice ways to finish this? (Especially for the standing mirror project).
