Has anyone used the Microplane sanding disk for random orbital sanders?

I looked at them, but for the life of me, couldn't figure out how the material removed gets accomodated. These things do not "sand"...they cut. Those cuttings have to get out of the disk.

I have 3 of them, Tried them, Not satisfied at all.
They really gouged the wood and wouldn't stay fastened to
sander either.

I concur with Earl, they gouge bad and fly off the sander way to easy.
