Was replacing the bottom 12 inches of my 6x6 column. Wasn't sure it was load bearing or not. Used the Skil saw all the way around and had to finish it off with the reciprocating saw. As the recipricating saw went through the post, the weight of the 12 foot post went down on the blade.

I now needed to find something to hold up the 12 foot post while I put the new section in its place. As I went to pull the car jack out of my trunk, I saw the 4 brand new Jorgys sittin in the trunk. It then occured to my that I could flip the head around and turn it into a jack. Well to make a long story short............It worked great.

Would have never thought of it, if those Jorggies hadn't been staring me in the face.
