I have a large possible order, would like to know if I can apply 3M foam tape before engraving and cutting out the tag, on the lazer.

I've done it with VHB and no problems, but prefer using the non-foam laminating tape like 3M 467MP, I keep it in 6" (not cheap).

I prefer to add tape after cutting by putting the tags upside down back in the holes. Not saying it's better, jsut another way.

You can order the plastics with adhesive already stuck on from Johnson Plastics for something like 2.50 a 1/4 sheet.

Raster the tags and then cut with the laser.
