i've noticed over the last two nights that DIY has had a show called "Woodturning Basics" dedicated to woodturning only.
my work is pretty much a mixture of flat work and turning, but i think it's great that there's finally a show out there dedicated to turning.

I had tivo from directv put in thursday and been recording alot of woodworking shows I use do miss,,,I like the turning show from diy,,,,,I had an interest in turning but didn't know where to begin,,,,watching the shows I see I've been doing it wrong,,,hope they do some pen turning,,,,,,

I too was very glad to see Woodturning Basics. So far, I have recorded every show!!!! I also got to see somethings that I have been doing wrong and now have a better idea of what to do and how to make it happen. Maybe we should e-mail Woodcraft and let them know that we appreciate shows like this and to say thank you for sponsoring such a nice show for us WW'ers.
