HI,

I will soon be in the market for a drill press. I primarily will be drilling holes in wood for shelving and would like to use the press as a light sander on occassion. I don't want to spend a fortune under $800. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Joe

There are stilll some very good Walker Turners available in the used machine tool market for around about $100.00

They made those things very well and they run flawlessly.
I have mine set up with a 2HP reversable variable speed DC motor so I can use it as a tapping machine also.
