Conversion Varnish?

Can someone explain, step by step, how to apply conversion varnish to teak?

I've never used it on teak, but I spray about 10-15 gallons of Conversion varnish a month. Assuming this is for an indoor project, I would sand to 120, spray heavy coat of CV. Sand back heay after 30 mins to 1 hr. with 220. Blow off/tack. Spray heavy coat of CV. Let dry 30 mins. Spray final coat of CV. If you can't get the final coat on within 4 hrs. I would scuff with a purple scotchbrite pad.

Others may suggest sanding past 120, but I've found with a heavy 2nd and 3rd coat the finish should level out and be very smooth.

Not sure what that means but if you want to use a conversion varnish you must buy it and a catalyst that you add just before use. the percentage will vary with the product but will probably be in the 2-5% range although I have used catalyzed polyurethanes that catalyze at 50%.

Thanks, 2% is pretty close to the resins I'm used to. I've never used any kind of polyurethane though.
