Well finally got to get the Bradford Pear (Pic #1) down. It was too big a job for me so when the tree man came by he informed me he had a load of Sweet-gum (Pic #2) and if I wanted it I could have it. I took about half of what he had and surprised him with a bowl for being so kind.;) Then he gave me an estimate to take out a small Elm (Pic #3) in the front yard I'd been having problems with. It was good so I took him up on it. There are a number of crotches in all three and even two triples. Anyway here is the "BIG" Gloat.

Now. for anyone in the greater Houston area that would like some of this; just PM me, and you can have some. Trades are welcome but absolutely not necessary. I just want (and need) to share my good fortune with some of you.:D

Fantastic, Chris! I'm very partial to Bradford Pear - love turning it! Also have had good luck with Gum and Elm... so in my book, you scored BIG TIME! Congrats!
