Cutting Carbon Fiber?

I am planning to primarily cut plastics with an Epilog mini... as soon as I get it. A thought occurred to me over the weekend though, can a 45w laser cut through 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" carbon fiber sheets?

Just brainstorming wrangling up some more product and this would certainly be something I could sell.

Carbon Fiber does not work very well with a CO2 laser. It does not seem to matter if it is sheet, pre peg or finished composit. You either have voids in the fabric or such dissimilar melting points between binder and fibers.
