Yesterday, I saw a Porter Cable 690LR for $70 on Craigslist and e.mailed the seller that I was interested. Didn't get a reply last night, and nothing this morning. I sent another e.mail early this morning, but still got no reply.
I saw a sale on Amazon for 6 UniKlamps for $70, and got some good information from members here. Just as I was ready to place my order I got a phone call from the router seller saying he had the router with him and would bring it to me, if I still wanted it. Hmmmmm. Decisions, decisions!!
I ended up saying "Yes", and headed for our meeting place. The router was just as the seller said it was...like new! He had used it once to bullnose some edges and then moved into a condo and was selling his shop tools.
Here's the router.

Everything was there, including the bullnose bit he'd used. I got it for $65:D
Now I have 2 690LRs to use with my 4212 dovetail jig. I've got a bunch of boxes, trays and other projects to build, and changing tail/pin bits back and forth, using a single router, is a pain.
So I used up my UniKlamp funds, but hope to get some in the near future. (thanks for all the info).
