Picked up old Matherson plough plane from a secondhand dealer a few weeks ago....$12. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d74/apricotripper/6t.jpg
The misses wastn't happy with my buy. She thought it was junk. And the dealer was happy, cause he thought it was junk too. http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Bugger them http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/smilies/biggrin.gif .I've never tried one of these before, so I risked the buy.

Pleasure. Glad you like it. Thanks.

If anybodys got a little history on them, I'd love to here of it.

Be nice to know where they were used for mostly. etc. Anything. Especially that sort of stuff that time forgets...always interesting.
