Hi Gang;
Here's a quick gift idea that's easy to do on the laser. Cheese board with knife nad two forks. I used 5/32" cherry but also looks great in Jatoba, Laser then a little fast sanding,soak overnight in mineral oil (safe) and then burnish with oil and a 3M fine pad. Wipe off excess oil and you're done.

Hi all;
Here's the Corel file for the cheese board and utensils.
Enjoy.

Looks cool George. I'm guessing the "knife" isn't really going to cut any but the softest of cheeses, but would work well as a serving tool (cheese spatula?)

Curious what these can sell for. I don't sell anything retail so need to find things that I can sell at maybe 1/2 retail to a shop and still make me a profit. And based on the other thread here about replacing laser tubes, I don't want to underplay the importance of getting a good amount of money for the time the laser is running.

Hi Dave;
I've seen a similar board plus one knife sell for $25 at a local gift shop-the knife alone sells for $7.95. Have not made them for sale-just a gifts so far.
