Here is 2 Confetti lamp bowls I made for the show!
The Ladies love them!
The NE one is Bradford Pear 6 1/4" X 2 1/2" tall
The other is Box Elder with a textured ring below the rim 5 3/4" X 2" tall.
Thanks for Looking!

Jim, all I can say is you have just taken confetti lamps to a new level, one of these (if I can borrow your idea) is now on my must do list. Thanks for posting the pics. Great work !

Jim , nice job they look great and relly like the textured one... about what range in price could one expect to sell these for ??? the ring glow make it easier to finish off the bottom ?

Paul,
This was a craft show and not many art collectors come, so I price them to sell at the show. These are smaller than the ones I had last year. I charged $60 for the 8" one I did last year. I charged $40 for these I didn't have much time making/Sanding 20 min tops, and they came from the scrap pile so I felt like I was making a good profit from them.
It is a lot like buying a car if they really like it they will buy, to some price is not a factor unless it's a ridiculous price.

I like them Jim!

VERY cool idea. Where did you come up with it? Just outa your head, or something you have seen?

Either way, real neat, and a super job on them as always.

Thanks Guys!
All I can say is knock yourself out:D
I have never seen anyone else make them before. I made one last year and sold it pretty quick, but ask the lady if I could leave it for display and if she could pick it up the next day. she said fine and I got a lot of comments on it so I made a few for this show.

Here is a pic of last years Confetti bowl.

Oh yea, I remember it. I went out and bought some little confetti lights and made one. Didn't come out quite as nice though.

I thought I had responded to this one earlier, guess not early senior moment I guess. Jim a unique idea for a confetti lamp very creative and functional.

Very nice lamp bowls Jim. I tried to find that style oil lamp at my Walmart but they don't carry it. Where else can I look?

After seeing Jim's work I (just like may) want to give it a try. I looked at Wal-mart and the three major chain craft stores in my area. After driving all over the place, I've given up trying to find them locally. Craft Supplies USA was the only place I found them.

Jim - thanks for the inspration and the pics of the beautiful work you've done!
